Commissioned by Save the Children, Inexor built a web portal, intended for members of Save the Children to discover the activities of Save the Children in Sweden. Members log in for information and discover activities and can become involved locally.
Local organizations are able to create websites within the portal where they can post updated information about their own activities. This way, editors in the local organizations can influence a larger audience.
The members' portal of Save the Children Sweden utilizes many of EPiServer's capabilities and assets. Editors' duties can be assigned to a number of people without affecting security or the look and feel of the site. A prerequisite for this portal was that it could be adminstered centrally as well as edited locally, which made EPiServer the obvious choice for this project.
The straightforward interface included in EPiServer makes it easy for editors, even those with little or no web experience, to quickly start editing and contributing content to the site.
