National Courts Administration needed a joint, professional website was for the entire organization to make it easier to disseminate information, reduce the amount of e-mails being sent and to keep information up to date.
The website is big enough for each authority to create its own mini site that is perceived as a separate website. The look and feel is consistent all the authorities have the same profile and use the same color scheme. Website visitors should easily be able to contact a district court for a particular matter and shouldn’t have to think about whether they were in the right place.
Information on the website and navigation is designed in the same way, making it quicker for visitors to find what they're looking for. By using the built-in functionality, a lot of the information is managed from one place, from where it is displayed on the authorities' own page.
The new website has increased the level of service to the general public and is much easier to update. The common content is now being created by the National Courts Administration, instead of each authority creating their own content. This means that the authorities have more time to publish information specific to them and therefore providing better service to the public.
