More efficient after EPiServer training

Variety, the children's charity of Australia launched their new website based on EPiServer CMS and EPiServer Composer in early 2011. "The Variety Australia website is the 'shop front' for our supporters, and an important way for us to engage new supporters and provide information and merchandise opportunities," explains David Small, CEO of Variety Australia.

"The previous website had been difficult to use and update, but since having the training, staff in each of the 7 Variety offices around Australia have found it very easy to update and keep the Variety website fresh and relevant," David adds.

Distance is no longer a challenge

One of the main challenges of the training for Variety Australia was the long distance between the participating editors, spanning across three time zones. This was easily overcome by the online training concept suggested by EPiServer, who provided the training at two different times of day, making it possible for all the editors to attend.

"The trainer in Sweden shared her screen for demonstration purposes and the participants could communicate via telephone and carry out the exercises at their own pace. We were able to see direct results of the training almost immediately and would definitely use the online training concept for future EPiServer training," David Small continues.
